JELLYFISH AND WOLF PARTIES

The update is here, and it is huge. The most noticeable is the aquarium, which is the water version of Brady Bar's Lab. Here's the owner:

And, speaking of gems, the "new" times two gems game is Best Dressed. SO much better than River Race.

Jellyfish are here! Unfortunately, we have to wait till the next update for our Octopi. Heres my cute little guy.

Something I forgot about Best Dressed; a glitch, and a weird one at that. This happened to me twice. (In a row!)

The second time they weren't right next to each other, but there were still two of them. Has this happened with anyone else since the update? Or two of the same different items, other than black dragon wings?

One of the favorite parts of the update was the wolfs only party. Wolves of all colors gathered in the Township, counting down the minutes.

And when they say wolves only, they MEAN wolves only. You automatically turn into your wolf when you go to the party, you can't change to a different animal, and if you don't have a wolf, you get a message saying you can't go unless you get one. (Wow, long sentence.)

Go toward the lava to turn red,

Go to the shop in the corner to buy wolfy stuff,

The claw machine is also wolves only,

And the moon makes, well, a moon!

UPDATE!

The update has come! Unfortunately, the new double gems game is river race. Next, I want Temple of Trivia!
Looks like the Township has finally thawed out, and Mira is stone, not ice.

The new, icy den is a perfect home for our penguins. It is also now perfect for showing off your pets! Hurray!

At the new(ish) party, you can pick up some rare items in shop. Hurry, it could be gone any day now. You'll also want to save up money for the claw machine there, because it has lion plushies!

Another thing I wanted to write about was lion fish armor. If you were lucky enough to get all three pieces, try them on a seal:

NEW TO AJ

Last Thursday was the new update, and there was plenty of stuff to discover. Penguins! Plus, you now get paid for the animals you recycle; unfortunately, after you recycle you have to pay to get a new animal. All the empty spaces now look like this:

There's also the new heatwave party. The shop isn't very impressive, but the smoothie machine got a cool new look.

 

This is one of my favorite times two gems games: Best Dressed! It's not as fast as Phantom's Treasure, but it is more fun. And ANYTHING is better than the fish game.

Before Thursday I made up my small den for my penguin. YOU would be amazed how much you can get from trading the right stuff. My den is frozen!

COOL!

I did not know this until recently; I can blog from school! My last period is in the computer lab, and we occasionaly have free time. Apparently they didn't block Blogspot. I am posting this from school.

I can't wait for tomorrow! I have my small den all set up for my penguin. (It has lots of frozen things!)

RARE MONDAY

Yesterday was the first rare monday, and gloves were available in the store, for 2,500 gems. Because they were so high, I only managed to buy 3 of them.

Speaking of rare, a new item replaced the cake bake station, which I thankfully already had:

There also heart-shaped balloons in the store now. I think that's all the new stuff.

NEW TO AJ

Sorry I didn't post all this sooner, but I've been busy exploring all the new things. One of the most noticible is the new arcade.

This is the entrance. In the corner is a new poll that lets you tell AJHQ your ideas for new games. I posted my idea for Pet Games. You could train your pets, take them on walks, have a talent contest, or maybe even a fashion show! (They'd have to come up with more accessories for that, though. Maybe mini versions of the things our animals wear?)

One of the coolest things of the arcade is the new game. There are three shooters: blue, purple, and red. You are trying to shoot down a phantom's spaceship. If your color matches the color of the ship's forcefield, you win a prize, new, action-figure collectibles of all of AJ's current land animals.

You can also buy video games again, which is good for everyone except people like me who had video games when they were rare, after the store stopped selling them. I guess people will just have to find another way to make epic dens.

There is one cool thing; you can now buy pill bugs and fruit slinger!

This is also the month of the Friendship Festival. I don't know if there is anything special about this besides new letters to send because this is my first year on Animal Jam. Guess I'll just have to wait and find out!

Oh, and in the next update penguins are coming. I'm pretty sure no one was surprised.

There are also going to be rare item Mondays. I'm super excited about these and am currently stock-piling gems so I don't miss these; they're only in stores for that day!
