OPERATION: EPIC COMPLETE!!!!

I did it!!!! My den is finally epic! Look!

In other news, pieluver32's party totally flopped. It was just me, my sister, and some random person. This random person just happened to be shooting a video. That's actually how I found out I had an epic den; after a while, the video-shooter said he wanted us to leave so he could finish his video. Having no where else to go, I went to my den. I found several strangers roaming around my castle. This was confusing because the only way to get to my den is to click on it on my profile, search me, be my friend.... or my den got on the list of epic dens. When this hit me, I looked, and there was my username for any random Jammer to click on. Feel free to go there as much as you like!

I am the one with the top hat and designer skirt with a snake. I got all dressed up for nothing! I even dressed up my snake with a bow and a lollipop! Oh, well. Still, come to my EPIC DEN!

I know I haven't blogged in a while, but there really hasn't been anything interesting going on in Jamaa. The only new thing is the new AJ HQ BLOG, and they haven't posted anything we don't already know. Well, okay, one thing; the new code, explorer. But THAT only gets you 100 gems! So now I'm pretty much just collecting my daily gem bonus and waiting for the new update to roll in.

GAME OF THE WEEK

Yo bloggers I'm BJammer and I'm taking over GAME OF THE WEEK. Woo hoo!

This weeks game is

Plants VS. Zombies is like the normal zombie killing game, but with a twist. You do it with plants! Here's a look at the main menu.

The grave stone has the important stuff. Click on adventure to access the main game,which  has 50 levels! Click on mini games to play,well, mini games. Puzzle, well you get the picture.  In Survival you play till ya die and the zombies win.


If you look under your name tag at the top left corner, you will see the section "Zombatar". This lets you create your own zombie! Check out one my sis made.

 At the bottom of the screen you will notice the almanac. This shows you all the plant dooms-day devices you have earned. Here are the first two plants you get.

The first one is a pea shooter. He amazingly shoots peas, obviously. The next one is a sun flower. They don't fight, but the give you sun you can use to buy (yes i said buy) plants.

NEW TO AJ

Well, I've been a busy bee. I've played SO much Phantoms Treasure, I now own a Golden Glove and a Ol' Barn den.

One brand new annoying glitch? Yesterday, I found out I wasn't going out to any parties.

It's fine now, but yesterday I was stuck. I must get into a trading party! With nothing else left after I bought my cobra, I managed to finish the Temple of Zios journal page. I'm not going to tell you where any of them are, but I will tell you what the prize is: an elephant throne, kind of like the stone throne, but rare and carved. (If you want a freebie, take a look at this pic.

   

There are actually two freebies here: the fish under the arrow, and the spider-thingy under the bridge.

As for the rest of my time, like I said, I spent loads of time on Phantom's treasure. Here's a tip: pick one of the two places, and stick with it; don't go to the other one. Eventually, you'll memorize that scene and get it all done much faster, resulting in more gems. Need proof? Here's my current fastest-time.

     What in the world? A couple of days ago, I was exploring the seas of Jamaa, when I found this:

In other crazy news, the famed Snowyclaw appeared on AJ also. Need proof? Here's her and me:

If there are some of you out there have been trying to get her on your buddy list with strange results, don't worry, you're not alone. For example, on the day I found her on AJ, I must have sent around 5-10 requests. Some flat-out were never answered. Some showed her on my buddy list for a minute of so, then her name would vanish off the list. I emailed her about this, and she said that, yes, her buddy list was having really wonky bugs. Hopefully this will be fixed in tomorrows update.

I also hope that tomorrow Jamaa will finally have it's own flag. Here are my favs. What do you think?

UPDATE

Sorry. I haven't blogged in a while because I've been busy with OPERATION:EPIC.

So, a while back, I ran out of room to put things in my den. So I bought a new one! From now on, if I ever run out of room, I'll just buy another one and fill it up.

GAME REVIEW OF THE WEEK:SUPER MARIO 3D LAND

   Mario comes back in his new adventure Super Mario 3D land, exclusively for the 3DS. This new game mixes a combination of new and classic for great game-play. Move Mario through 8 worlds(of course)of air, land, and sea. Paired with stunning 3D effects, this is a must-have for anyone who owns a 3DS.
    Stuck on a level? Don't worry; with the new power-ups, it's impossible to lose! After you fail a certain amount of times at a level, a golden block with a new power-up will appear at the beginning. When you gain this new item, you are invincible! (Of course, you can still fall off. Got to be some way to lose.) This way, you can focus on the course, not the enemies.
    If you fail more after that, you'll find one of the most helpful power-ups to EVER appear in the game: this one takes you right to the flag. Of course, for the hard-core Mario fans, you can simply ignore these powers and try to go through the level unaided.
    There is one setback  to the game. Not just extra levels cost star coins anymore; there are two boss battles that require them too now. Particularly the final boss battle at the end, which costs 90 star coins.(!)

OPERATION: EPIC CONTINUED

This mission is coming along swimmingly. As shown below, I have already bought quite a few rare items.(I'm counting Christmas items as rare. You can only get them once a year!) Also, with the help of the new x2 game, Pill Bugs, I've finally bought the princess castle. The trick is filling it up. Most epic dens look crowded, but there is a limit on how many items can go into a den. The solution: Quality, not quantity. If you by a too-large assortment of small items, your dens will fill up to fast. Most rare items are large and take up more space. If you use more of these your den will look more full; and ALL the epic dens look AT LEAST this full.

 

NEW TO AJ

    The long-awaited update has finally arrived, and there's plenty to be exited to be about, 3 in particular. The new player game, scooped, first off: in this new game you click on different selections of ice cream, plus hot fudge, sprinkles, and chocolate chips to replicate the cone in the middle. First to five wins!
     Of course the favorite parts(at least to members)are the horses; and, with all the accessories and patterns available, you could make a moose, giraffe, or a zebra. Want mythical? Add a combinations of horns, wings, and claws to create a unicorn, a pegasus, or even a demon pegasus!
     Also, the new x2 gem game is revealed: Pill Bugs! If you want to buy up rare items like me, this is your game now. Each round can now get you approximately 50 gems. In other words, along with Best Dressed, it's the new get-rich-quick game.
     For a complete list of new events and items, check out the calendar. (by the way, all of the items posted are all month, it doesn't matter what day the calendar says it's on; they randomize it)

OPERATION: EPIC

  I have a new goal in AJ; to own an epic den. I did my research by traveling to various epics. The most common epic den is a medium-to large den that is absolutely stuffed with items. So here's my plan; I'm going to buy at least one of every item I can lay my paws on, more than one for things with different colors. So far, I've got all the christmas stuff, because I wanted to get it before it's all gone. (It's amazing how fast you can spend 6,000 gems.)

UNTIL THURSDAY

      As any of you Jammers have already seen, the Jamaalidays are over. We're back to the daily bonus gems, and, according to Snowyclaw on animaljamspirit.blogspot.com, horses will be here this Thursday. Until then, here's somethings that can keep you busy for hours on end:
     1.Go around Jamaa and pay five rounds/levels of every game you can find
     2.Sell your current den(if it isn't the original)and everything in it, come up with a new theme,and buy a
        new den and accessories
     3.Buy and customize one of each animal
     4.Buy and customize one of each pet
     5.Find as many of the collectibles under water that you can
     6.Send everyone on your friend list one clothing present and one den item present.
That should AT LEAST keep you busy until Thursday! Have fun exploring!

Question of the day: who were the first to make New Year's resolutions
At least this is something relevant to the time of year, or anything at all.One time I passed one that had something to do with how many pets were bought in a year; I kid you not. The real interesting thing about ask.com are the suggestions when you start typing. It takes the first words you wrote and finishes it with the most-asked questions. For example, I typed in what is, and these are the fill-ins it popped up:

FAVORITE PASTIMES IN AJ

     Have you been noticing hot-spots on AJ? The newest one is the rocky bridge in Coral Canyons. if there are enough animals jumping on this bridge, it starts to crack and chunks of rock start to fall. You might even see the occasional burst of eagles. Now I don't know who, but I've seen a Jammer spreading the rumor that you need 30 of each land animal to completely break through. Well,I'm here to say that if this is true, we'll never break through. You just can't fit that many animals in one room,

     Now for a couple new phenomenons, ones that weren't even programmed: Adopting and Marriage. People are creating new "families" every day. The popular place for adopting has become the pillow room in the Township. And it isn't just parent/kid adopting; now kids can adopt new brothers and sisters to!

     Like I said, as strange as it is, there are also marriages popping up all over Jamaa. I "married" the "brother" of my REAL sister, so I guess now we are both sisters and sisters-in-law. One problem Jammers ran into is that you can't type the word "marry" in the speech bubble box on Animal Jam. So, for a while, everyone typed "will you be my husband?" or, "will you be my wife". Now, people have found a loophole;sort of. Now, this is a common speech bubble sight: "will you merry me?"
